Becoming Wealthy through the Home-Based Business Opportunity by

Home-Based Business ManThanks to the Internet, more people than ever before are discovering that they can launch their own home-based business. Essentially, all you need is a computer, an Internet connection, and the right home-based business opportunity. The question then becomes, how to you select the best home based business opportunity? Here are four steps you can take to help you decide which opportunity is right for you.

Determine Your Goals

Before committing to an income opportunity at home, you first need to determine your goals. Are you interested in supplementing your income from your current job? Do you wish to stay at home with your children, but bring in a second income? Are you retired and want to supplement your pension or social security? Or are you tired of the nine-to-five grind and want to make a full time income by working only part time? Perhaps you have a specific financial goal in mind, such as a vacation or college fund, or maybe you want to harness the power of the Internet and become genuinely wealthy. Determining your financial goals will help you find the best home based business opportunity.

Can You Sell?

Many times, a home-based business opportunity requires you to sell products. Are you a salesperson at heart, or does the thought of calling people and selling products make you cringe? If you?re a born salesperson, there are any number of opportunities that allow you to excel. However, if you?re not a natural salesperson, there?s no reason to go outside your comfort zone. Even if you try, you probably won?t succeed.

Instead, find a home-based business opportunity that harnesses the power of the Internet to provide you with an automated, hands-off lead generation and sales system. Typically, these kinds of opportunities offer products ? such as software or information products ? that essentially sell themselves. The companies that offer these kinds of business opportunities will provide you with the tools you need to help you succeed, such as your own website, training, and marketing support.

Seek Out Flexibility

You may be in the position to work predetermined hours from home, but the majority of people who seek an income opportunity at home need flexibility. Perhaps you have school-age children, or maybe you are a night owl and want to work from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The best home based business opportunity enables you to work the hours that are convenient to you and that allows you to access the vital information you need 24-7-365.

The Right Compensation Plan

There are almost as many compensation plans as there are home-based business opportunities. When you?re reviewing opportunities, make sure to compare apples to apples. Generally speaking, the best compensation plans give you 100% of every sale after your first two sales (which go to your immediate upline). You then receive the sales from the first two sales of each person in your downline, and their downline, and so forth to infinity. This type of compensation plan generally outperforms those that are commission-based because commission-based compensation plans typically are of greatest benefit to those at the top and leave relatively little profit for you.

When you find the best home based business opportunity, you can maximize your earning potential and truly become wealthy.

Not Quite the Fairest

These dwarves do not whistle while they work. They are not so hot when it comes to comic relief in general, but they are still devoted to a certain princess, as is most of their fairy tale realm. That is why she is such a threat to the despotic Queen Ravenna, her wicked stepmother.

Straying from familiar Disney territory, the latest live-action adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale takes on overtones of Joan of Arc as the protagonist rallies the troops in Rupert Sanders?s ?Snow White and the Huntsman,? which opens nationwide June 1.

King Magnus, Snow White?s widower father, chose the wrong second wife. He does not even make it to the honeymoon. The narcissistic Ravenna?s reign is harsh, even depressing the natural environment around her imposingly cinematic castle.

However, she gets a rather unwelcomed surprise from her magic mirror when Snow White comes of age. She is no longer the fairest of them all. The prisoner of the North Tower is. Thanks to the help of sundry beasts and birds, Snow White escapes her captivity, only to find herself in the supernaturally ominous Dark Forest.

Wanting Snow White?s purity for uncanny purposes, the queen sends in Eric, a drunkard huntsman who happens to be one of the few mortals to venture through the forest and live to tell the tale. Fortunately, the huntsman does not take direction well.

As a result, he will have to contend with her loyal ?Game of Thrones?-ish brother, his armored forces, and a fair number of monsters. A small band of short eccentrics might be able to help them. There is also some business with an apple.

\>");

This is ?Snow White,? done kind-of-sort-of faithfully. However, it spends far too much time aimlessly trudging about the Dark Forest. Frankly, the film really starts to take off when it diverges from Grimm, becoming an old-fashioned fight-for-freedom epic. Indeed, it is refreshing to see a less passive Snow White leading the resistance into battle like it?s St. Crispin?s Day.

In fact, Kristen Stewart rather exceeds expectations, balancing vulnerability and a suitably regal presence as Snow White. Chris ?Thor? Hemsworth might not be venturing too far out of his comfort zone here, but he swings the battle axe as well as the war hammer. Though played by great (full-size) actors like Ian McShane, Ray Winstone, Bob Hoskins, and Eddie Marsan, the dwarves just look weird. They are not funny, but they are still rather shticky.

However, it is Charlize Theron who really puts a stamp on the picture, vamping it up and chewing the scenery with sheer evil delight as Ravenna, while her apparent age yo-yos up and down (getting a crucial assist from the crack team of makeup artists).

Graduating from commercials to big special-effect-laden features, Sanders creates a richly detailed fantasy world, particularly the striking castle, in both interior and exterior shots.

However, one has to wonder just who is the intended audience for a dark, brooding version of ?Snow White,? served with a reasonable helping of hack-and-slash action. In fact, those looking for ?happily ever after? romance might find that the film leaves them cold, while the laughably clunky dialogue is not likely to do much for anyone.

?Snow White and the Huntsman? is an odd assortment of mismatched parts, but some of those pieces are admittedly entertaining. Ironically, it would not be a good date movie because those who are reluctantly dragged into it might find it more enjoyable than expected, whereas their dates will likely be disappointed by it. A mixed bag best saved for post-theatrical viewing options, it opens nationwide Friday (June 1).

USF Aikido Summer Training | University of South Florida Aikido

USF Campus Rec has been changing the rules to do away with all martial arts clubs like ours ? and they have finally succeeded in deactivating our club and removing our access to the Recreation Center. If you call and ask about us, you will be told that we are not holding classes.

However, it?s not true!
Over the summer, we will be holding outdoor weapons classes in front of the Campus Recreation center on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm, Fridays at 7pm at Barry and Meredith?s house, and Sundays at 2pm also at Barry and Meredith?s.

This is a temporary situation. Training will continue, and the Club will continue. We will move to a permanent off-campus facility, and change the USF Aikido Club to a different category so that it does not require access to the Campus Rec facility. Pay attention to the Club Facebook page for announcements and details.

The actions by Campus Rec are motivated by politics, bureaucracy and ambition ? but not by any actions of the Club, and not by any responsible consideration of what is best for USF students, or for providing a diversity of activity options for students beyond large, traditionally Western competitive sports. Our Club has been growing, and we look upon this event as an opportunity for us to grow to the next stage. We hope you?ll join us for the adventure!

As Ireland votes on EU treaty, many ask if it's worth cost of membership

The strict rules of the EU fiscal treaty Ireland votes on today essentially block stimulus spending, and many Irish worry the country is stuck in an austerity-driven slump.

Standing in his field outside the village of Redcross in mid-May, an hour south of capital city Dublin, farmer David Johnson is clearly enjoying the unusually warm, dry weather that is allowing him to literally make hay.

"You still get a quality of life. Even when things aren't going right," says the County Wicklow beef farmer.?

But despite tourist images of Irish pastoral bucolia, quality of life isn't the reason farms exist. They are businesses, and in Ireland, the European Union is central to the industry. Agri-food is one of the few success stories in post-crash Ireland, worth 9 billion euros ($11.2 billion), with 83 percent of the sector's exports going to EU countries.

As Ireland goes to the polls today in a referendum on the European Unity fiscal unity treaty, much of the vote will be driven by voters' assessment of how much they benefit from the full support of the EU, and whether those benefits outweigh the costs of austerity.?

"I'm probably going to be voting yes. As farmers we are, more than most, committed to the European Union," says Mr. Johnson.

The European Fiscal Compact creates a 780 billion euro ($967.5 billion) permanent bailout fund called the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) for member countries to draw on in return for running a structural deficit of no more than 0.5 percent.?If a country breaks the rules, it will be subject to penalties issued by the European Court of Justice.?

But the low deficit threshold makes desperately needed government stimulus difficult to implement. If Ireland signs on to the treaty, it is rejecting growth driven by government spending.

Ben Tonra, professor of international relations at University College Dublin, says he is a committed pro-European, but a "yes" vote can be made through gritted teeth at best.?"I think it's a bad treaty in terms of politics and in terms of economics, but it's the only way," he says.

The German-led plan does not need Irish endorsement. As a so-called "intergovernmental treaty," only 12 of the 17 nations that use the euro currency must sign for it to pass into law. But a "no" from Ireland would be a slap in the face to Europe and, the government claims, would lock Ireland out of any future bailout funding.

The Irish government says the treaty will create certainty in the markets, allowing investment to flow back into Ireland.?Speaking yesterday, Prime Minister Enda Kenny said a "yes" vote would spur recovery by "send[ing] out the message that Ireland is on the road to recovery, that we are a place of economic and budgetary stability."
